National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has declared that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is too important to be controlled by opposition parties as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections.
Ganduje made the statement on Thursday during a rally in Abuja to welcome new defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and other opposition platforms into the ruling APC. The event, held at the old parade ground in Abuja, was led by the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Maikalangu.
