The initiative, sponsored annually by a lawmaker at the state House of Assembly , Mr Gbolahan Yishawu, was held on Thursday in Lagos.
The programme provided free eye consultations; eye pressure and acuity tests; refraction and blood pressure tests, as well as complimentary prescription glasses.
Also, the first 20 patients diagnosed with cataracts received free surgical procedures.
