Kenya Airways has revealed that it transported over 10,000 passengers from Nigeria between 2023 and 2024, with Nigerians ranking among its top frequent fliers.
The airline emphasized that this underscores the strategic importance of the Nigerian market to both the company and the Kenyan government.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Kenya Airways’ Regional Manager for America and West Africa, Ngamau Stephen, announced that the airline increased its Lagos flight frequency from seven to 10 weekly flights in 2024, representing a 21% capacity boost.
