Temu has signed on DHL Group as one of its logistics partners to deepen its Nigerian operation. The company stated this while signing a logistics partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DHL.

The e-commerce platform stated that the MOU will help it focus on supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in established and emerging markets across Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.

Temu launched in Nigeria in 2024, aiming to tap into one of Africa’s largest consumer markets. Nigeria’s e-commerce market, valued at $8.53 billion in 2024, will grow to $14.92 billion by 2029. With a broadband penetration of nearly 50 percent, Nigerians are increasingly shifting toward online shopping, enticing global e-commerce players like Temu and Pricepally to join local players such as Jumia and Konga to jostle for a slice of the growing market.
