A multiple-vehicle accident in the early hours of Friday caused significant traffic disruption on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with congestion stretching from the Kara Bridge inward OPIC area back to the Otedola Bridge.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the incident in a statement posted on its official handle @followlastma at 7:40 a.m., noting that emergency response teams were swiftly deployed to the scene.
