The Federal Government has disclosed plans for the disbursement of 753 housing units recently acquired through forfeiture by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) linked to the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, disclosed this on Monday, May 26, at the inauguration of the board of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) in Abuja.
According to the minister, the houses were handed over to the Ministry of Housing under the directive of President Bola Tinubu, and the ministry has since taken full possession of the properties.
