The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a symbol of integrity, discipline, and Islamic devotion who served the nation with unwavering commitment.
In a statement signed by the NSCIA Secretary General, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, and issued from its national headquarters in Abuja on Monday, the council announced the demise of Buhari, who passed on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
