A devastating flash flood has wreaked havoc in Kebbi State, destroying two bridges, several homes, and vast farmlands in Dandi and Suru Local Government Areas.
Papers News understands that the disaster, which struck on Thursday, washed away a bridge in Fana township and another linking the Dakingari-Kyangakwai road, cutting off movement and crippling farming communities.
On Saturday, the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Tafida, led a government delegation on a sympathy visit to affected villages in Dandi, Suru, and Argungu LGAs.
