The supplementary election, otherwise known as re-run, conducted in Zamfara has been described as the most peaceful in the history of all the previous elections held in the state.
It could be recalled that INEC had earlier conducted a state assembly bye-electon in the state on the 16th of August 2025 following the death of the member representing Kaura south during which five units were declared inconclusive.
