Accountant Bags 15-Year Jail Term For Defrauding Oyo Job Seekers

An accountant with the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Wahab Olabanji, has been sentenced to a total of 15 years in prison after being convicted for defrauding job applicants under the guise of offering them employment in government agencies.


Olabanji, who served as Chief Executive Officer (Accounts), Grade Level 14, was found guilty of collecting money from multiple unsuspecting individuals seeking jobs at the state’s Hospital Management Board and the Teaching Service Commission.
