Sources indicate the affected staff were believed to be connected to anonymous emails sent in May 2025 by people calling themselves “Concerned Staff.” The messages allegedly highlighted workplace grievances including staff welfare concerns, perceived favoritism, career stagnation, uneven promotion practices, and possible internal misconduct.
Among those dismissed was software developer Kazeem Badmus, whom coworkers credit with helping the firm navigate a 2017 systems emergency when critical applications had to be rebuilt urgently.
