Apple is facing challenges in revamping Siri for the era of generative artificial intelligence, with a fully modernized, conversational version of the virtual assistant unlikely to be released until 2027, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The anticipated upgrade is expected to debut alongside iOS 20.
Despite the delay, Apple plans to roll out significant Siri updates in the coming years. A new version of Siri is set to be introduced in May, incorporating the Apple Intelligence features announced nearly a year prior.
