Atiku sympathises with Kano market fire victims, urges expanded relief

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed sympathy with traders and families affected by the recent fire outbreak at Singer Market in Kano, describing the incident as a devastating loss of livelihoods.


In a message shared on his X (formerly Twitter) platform on Sunday, Atiku said his thoughts were with those impacted and pledged solidarity with the victims.


“My heart goes out to every trader and family affected by the devastating fire at Singer Market in Kano. The anguish of losing one’s means of livelihood in such a tragic manner is profound, and I stand in solidarity with all who have been impacted,” he wrote.
