Two longtime members of the late Muhammadu Buhari’s domestic staff have shared touching memories of their close relationship with the former president, offering a rare glimpse into his private life, simplicity, and affection for those around him.
Speaking in separate interviews with BBC Hausa Service following Buhari’s death on Sunday in a London clinic after a prolonged illness, Suleiman Sani Kaita and Aliyu Maiwada Masanawa recounted their years of service and final interactions with the late elder statesman.
