As Nigerian children celebrated World Children’s Day, Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, called on parents and guardians to discourage their children from joining cult groups. He stressed the need to protect their future and steer them toward positive paths.
In his Children’s Day message, Governor Okpebholo extended warm wishes to children in Edo and across Nigeria. He described the day as a chance to celebrate the potential, innocence, and energy of young people—who he called “the true leaders of tomorrow.”
