Court Orders Final Forfeiture of ₦335 Million, Hospital, Five Filling Stations To FG

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted an order for the final forfeiture of assets valued at over ₦335 million, including a hospital and five filling stations, to the Federal Government of Nigeria.


Papers News reports that Justice Emeka Nwite issued the ruling on Tuesday, following a motion filed and moved by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) through its counsel, Fadila Yusuf.


Moving the application, Yusuf urged the court to make the interim forfeiture order permanent, having complied with the court’s earlier directives requiring publication and public notice of the properties.
