Operatives of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, have sealed the warehouses of five textile distributors engaged in unethical business practices.
The Commission, in a statement by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Ondaje Ijagwu, on Wednesday said the warehouses were engaged in deceptive sale of underweight and shortened fabric materials to unsuspecting consumers in breach of the provisions of the FCCPA, 2018.
According to the statement, the enforcement exercise by the Commission was led by its Director of Surveillance and Investigation, Mrs. Boladale Adeyinka.
