The three tiers of government, namely the Federal, State, and Local Government Areas, have shared a total of ₦2.001 trillion in revenue from the Federation Account for July 2025.
Papers News reports that the allocation was made at the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting held in Abuja and announced in a communiqué released on Friday by the spokesperson for the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Bawa Mokwa.
From the ₦2.001 trillion distributable revenue, the Federal Government received ₦735.081 billion, state governments got ₦660.349 billion, while the 774 local government councils shared ₦485.039 billion.
