Former President Goodluck Jonathan has hailed the past strength and independence of Nigeria’s National Assembly, describing it as a time when the legislature had the will to override presidential vetoes on critical bills.
Jonathan made the remarks on Wednesday evening at the Champions of Nigerian Content Awards Dinner organized by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where he was honored with the Nigerian Content Lifetime Achievement Award.
