Mujahideen Aminuddeen, Deputy Commander-General of the Shari’ah enforcement agency, confirmed that the operation was executed based on reliable intelligence.
Speaking to journalists in Kano, Aminuddeen explained that operatives from the Fagge patrol command acted promptly to stop the vehicle and confiscate its contents.
The driver has been taken into custody and is currently assisting authorities with their investigation. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the woman who allegedly sent the shipment.
