The pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, has hailed the appointment of Hon. Kayode Oladele as the Acting Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The group recently described Kayode Oladele as a “detribalised Nigerian and social crusader of impeccable character, whose life’s work has been defined by a deep commitment to equity, justice, and fairness for all Nigerians.”
Speaking via a press statement, Abagun Kole Omololu, National Organising Secretary, Afenifere, appreciated Oladele for the historical role he played during Nigeria’s struggle for democracy, citing his brave activism during the troubling days of military rule.
