Kogi Shuts Markets, Motor Parks In Seven LGs To Choke Terrorists’ Supply Lines

The Kogi State Government has ordered the temporary closure of markets and motor parks across parts of Kogi West Senatorial District as part of intensified security operations against terrorists, bandits and other criminal elements.


The directive was announced on Sunday by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, who said the move was taken to complement clearance operations being conducted in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser and security agencies in the state.
