The Kwara State government has approved the reopening of schools earlier shut down in some local government areas over challenges of insecurity in such locations.
According to a statement on Sunday by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, the affected schools are to reopen on Monday, February 2, 2026.
