The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to neutrality, transparency, and the rule of law in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.
INEC’s Acting Chairman, Mr. Sam Olumekun, gave the assurance on Wednesday when a high-level delegation of Labour Party, LP, visited the commission’s headquarters in Abuja to submit the Supreme Court’s judgement on its leadership structure.
The commission disclosed on its official X account that Olumekun together with other National Commissioners received the LP delegation as INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, is currently at the Gambia to attend the ECOWAS Network of Electoral Commissions, ECONEC, meeting.
