Microsoft is enhancing its AI-driven Security Copilot with the introduction of autonomous agents designed to assist security teams in managing growing cybersecurity threats.
Launched a year ago as a chatbot for security operations, the Security Copilot will now feature six Microsoft-developed AI agents and five additional agents created in collaboration with industry partners.
The six Microsoft security agents, set to launch in preview next month, are designed to handle critical security tasks, including triaging phishing and data loss alerts, prioritizing high-risk incidents, and monitoring system vulnerabilities.
