The Force Commander of the Multi-National Joint Task Force, Maj.-Gen. Saidu Audu, has paid a strategic operational visit to the Headquarters of the Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai, at Maimalari Military Cantonment, Maiduguri, according to a statement.
The statement, signed by the Media Information Officer, Headquarters Theatre Command, Joint Task Force (North East) Operation Hadin Kai, Lt.-Col. Sani Uba, said the visit was aimed at strengthening coordination ahead of joint operations in the Lake Chad Basin.
Uba said Audu explained that the visit was to formally introduce himself as the new Force Commander of the MNJTF and to deepen collaboration with Operation Hadin Kai.
