Local contractors under the All Indigenous Contractors Association of Nigeria on Tuesday barricaded the main entrance of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja, with a coffin as they intensified demands for the payment of over N500bn allegedly owed them by the Federal Government for completed projects.
The contractors said the coffin symbolised how they had continued to “bury members” who died while waiting for the debts to be cleared.
