In a statement signed by the group’s Executive Director, Abiodun Baiyewu, on Saturday, the group claimed that Mojeed has allegedly “weaponized investigative journalism” to pressure companies.
According to the organization, Mojeed has allegedly “routinely threatened” corporate bodies with unfavorable reports unless they purchased advertorials, describing the alleged practice as “racketeering disguised as journalism.”
