Nigeria has restated its commitment to deepening bilateral relations with the Republic of the Congo by expanding cooperation in trade, peace, and cultural exchange, describing the partnership as crucial to regional stability and mutual prosperity.
Yusuf Tuggar, minister of Foreign Affairs, gave the assurance in a statement issued on Friday by Kimiebi Ebienfa, the ministry’s spokesperson, to mark Congo’s independence anniversary.
In his congratulatory message to his Congolese counterpart, Jean-Claude Gakosso, minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Congolese Abroad, Tuggar praised the resilience and unity of the Congolese people, noting that their journey toward sovereignty and development remains an inspiration to Africa.
