Nigeria and Saint Lucia have signed a Technical Manpower Assistance (TMA) agreement outlining modalities for deploying skilled Nigerian professionals to Saint Lucia, as part of efforts to deepen South-South cooperation and reconnect with the African diaspora in the Caribbean.
The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, signed on behalf of Nigeria, while Janelle Modeste-Stephen, the Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation and Diaspora Affairs, signed on behalf of the eastern Caribbean Island on Wednesday at the Ministry of External Affairs, Castries, Saint Lucia.
