The Armed Forces of Nigeria and the Government of Switzerland have agreed to strengthen defence collaboration, with emphasis on non-kinetic approaches to addressing security challenges.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Director, Defence Information, Samaila Uba, following a courtesy visit by the Swiss Ambassador to Nigeria, Patrick Felix Egloff, to the Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
According to the statement, Egloff reaffirmed Switzerland’s commitment to sustaining and expanding diplomatic and defence cooperation with Nigeria.
