In a groundbreaking achievement, Nigerian journalist Livinus Chibuike Victor has shattered the Guinness World Record for the longest interviewing marathon, lasting 75 hours and 19 minutes. The record-breaking event, held at Harrow Park Golf Club in Abuja from April 17 to 20, 2025, was a powerful tribute to press freedom under the theme “Nigeria Our Strength.”
Livinus conducted over 215 interviews with diverse guests, including civic leaders and everyday Nigerians, sparking conversations about press freedom and its role in strengthening society. He surpassed the previous record of 55 hours and 24 seconds, set by Clara Chizoba Kronborg in March 2024, by over 17 hours.
