Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has said that all elected officials in the North, including governors seeking re-election, will not be re-elected unless they join the opposition African Democratic Congress.
He recently revealed that the ruling All Progressives Congress has clearly destroyed and marginalised the North.
Speaking during an interview on Trust TV’s Sunday Politics, Lawal disclosed that most elected officials in the North will be left with no choice but to defect to the ADC ahead of the 2027 general election.
