The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has once again suspended operations on the Warri–Itakpe rail corridor following a derailment incident that occurred on Saturday evening.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NRC, Kayode Opeifa, said the derailment happened at about 7:30 pm near Kilometre 212+8m, Agbor, involving two out of seven coaches of the Warri–Itakpe Train Service (WITS).
