The lawmaker representing Delta North senatorial district, Ned Nwoko, on Thursday, revealed that Senate delegates could not attend the burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari due to several failed attempts to land at Katsina airport.
Papers News recalls that Buhari died on Sunday in a clinic in London, following a prolonged illness. He was buried at his residence in Daura, Katsina state, on Tuesday.
Nwoko, in a post on 𝕏 (formerly known as Twitter), on Thursday, said there was air traffic congestion and no available parking space at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport in Katsina.
