In a post shared on his X handle, he wrote, “We now have a date for the historic #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest march to the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja. It is October 20 at 7 am”, he wrote.
Recall that the activist had earlier on Wednesday said he reached out to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo; Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe; Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti; and Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to join the protest.
According to him, despite contacting Alex Otti and Soludo to discuss how Kanu’s deserved release can be secured, both of them failed to pick up his calls or respond to his messages.
