Ogun partners WHO, UNICEF to improve maternal, newborn healthcare

The Ogun State Government has announced a strategic partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and UNICEF aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery, with a particular focus on mothers and newborns.


Dr Tomi Coker, the State Commissioner for Health, revealed this during the One-Day Comprehensive Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care (CEmONC) Assessment Dissemination Agenda held in Abeokuta on Wednesday.


Dr Coker reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to implementing evidence-driven policies that prioritise the health and wellbeing of all residents.
