Call For Reversal, Public Action
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has condemned the decision of the Senate to make real-time electronic transmission of election results optional, describing the move as a threat to Nigeria’s electoral integrity and democratic progress.
The party, in a statement issued on Wednesday by its Publicity Secretary, Dan Osa-Ogbegie, said the decision represents a “retrogressive move” capable of undermining transparency and public confidence in elections.
