Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has approved 17 new appointments across critical offices and institutions in the state, in what government officials described as a move to strengthen governance and improve efficiency.
Papers News reports that the announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Kenneth Kalu, who said all appointments take immediate effect.
The governor approved multiple appointments in the Protocol Department, with Uche Mark Nwosu named Chief Protocol Officer and Ikechukwu Nwankwo as Deputy Chief Protocol Officer.
