The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has issued a public health advisory against the excessive intake of salt.
This is coming after the founder of Loveworld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome advised his congregants to ignore doctors orders and increase salt consumption.
He claimed that Africans have been “deliberately discouraged” from consuming salt to make them reliant on sodium-based medications.
