Millions of people from all walks of life, including world leaders, gathered in St. Peter’s Square on Saturday to bid their final farewell to Pope Francis at his Requiem Mass.
Papers News reported that Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio on 17 December 1936 in Flores, a neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, died on Monday, 21st April, 2025.
The Requiem Mass was presided over by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals, who was joined by around 250 Cardinals, Patriarchs, Archbishops, Bishops, priests, consecrated religious, and lay people.
