The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election, Mr Peter Obi has described the poor result of candidates that sat for the 2027 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as a consequence of deep-rooted decay and underinvestment in the educational sector.
JAMB, the body saddled with conducting examinations into tertiary institutions across the country recently released the 2027 result, announcing that while 1,955,069 candidates sat for the exam only about 420,000 candidates scored above 200, while over 1.5 million scored below 200.
