The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has described 2025 as a year of focused groundwork and deliberate progress within Nigeria’s power sector, assuring Nigerians that 2026 will be dedicated to consolidating gains and delivering more reliable, accessible, and sustainable electricity nationwide, seeking unity of purpose in advancing the sector .
The Minister gave this assurance in his New Year message to Nigerians and the people of Oyo State, noting that despite the challenges encountered in 2025, significant milestones were achieved, particularly in stabilising the national grid and recording of sectoral historic landmarks in power generation and distribution.
