RIVERS EMERGENCY RULE: Fubara Lists Wike’s ‘Shortcomings’

Suspended governor of Rivers State, Sir Similanayi Fubara, has responded to some of the allegations made by President Bola Tinubu in the broadcast where State of Emergency was declared in the state on Tuesday, March 18.


While delivering the nationwide brodcast, President Tinubu went down memory lane to recall developments in Rivers, narrating what he described as some shortcomings on the path of Fubara.


Responding to the allegation in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Governor Fubara said it is not true that he did nothing to dissuade criminal groups and militants from making good their threats to attack oil installations.
