Speaking Tuesday after registering at Ward 3, St. Stephen’s Primary School, Adeniji Adele on Lagos Island, the governor emphasized that the nationwide exercise running throughout January validates both existing and new members through a digital platform.
Sanwo-Olu encouraged members, especially young people, to take part in the free and straightforward process. The registration is happening simultaneously across Lagos State’s 245 wards and other parts of Nigeria to digitally capture members and strengthen the party’s database.
“The APC e-registration exercise is what will validate and confirm that you are a card-carrying member of our party. Every party member who truly wants to be called a member of the APC should take it seriously. This is the minimum you need to show sincerity and commitment to the party. Nobody is asking for anything—just come, register and collect your slip,” Sanwo-Olu said.
