SMEDAN trains nMSMEs on packaging, branding skills to harness AfCFTA opportunities

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN, has commenced a transformative training programme in Lagos State to equip nano, micro, small, and medium enterprises, nMSMEs, with cutting-edge skills in packaging and branding to unlock the vast opportunities of the African Continental Free Trade Area, AfCFTA.


SMEDAN said in a statement by its Head of Corporate Affairs, Prince Moshood Lawal, that the training is part of its strategic initiatives to build the capacity of Nigerian enterprises, ensuring they are well-positioned to take advantage of AfCFTA’s promise of a single African market with over 1.3 billion consumers.


Speaking at the event on behalf of the Director General of SMEDAN, Mr. Tunde Oloyede emphasized the critical role of packaging and branding in creating competitive and export-ready products.
