Human rights activist and #RevolutionNow convener, Omoyele Sowore, was allegedly manhandled by police officers at the Force Headquarters in Abuja during a heated confrontation over a physical search in the interrogation room.
Sources told SaharaReporters that Sowore resisted an attempt by investigators to physically search him, insisting on due process and proper documentation. The face-off reportedly escalated into a shoving match in the presence of his legal team.
Sowore, known for his vocal stance on human rights and anti-corruption, also demanded to see the original copy of the petition filed against him, reportedly over allegations of forgery and criminal defamation.
