Comparisons between Abiodun and former Governor Gbenga Daniel (OGD) were rampant, with residents listing OGD’s legacy projects—including the Gateway Polytechnic (Saapade), the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, an international market, and the foundational work on the Agro Cargo Airport—as proof of real development.


“OGD secured all approvals—FAAN, NiMet, even compensation for landowners—before leaving office. What has Abiodun done since? Nothing! Just empty promises,” said a community leader in Aye Gbami, simply identified as Baba Dotun.
