Recall that Tinubu on Thursday granted a posthumous presidential pardon to Macaulay, a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, the late Maj. Gen. Mamman Vatsa, convicted of treason, and a convicted former lawmaker, Farouq Lawan.
Reacting via a press statement, the APC Spokesman, Mr Seye Oladejo, revealed that the latest development is yet another display of the President’s humanity, fairness, and statesmanship.
According to him, President Tinubu’s gesture goes beyond symbolism and further reaffirms his belief in restorative justice and national healing.
