The Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, has expressed readiness to commission a new electric campus transportation scheme across selected tertiary institutions in the next month to ease the mobility challenges faced by students nationwide.
Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arc. Sonny Echono, disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja during a courtesy visit by a delegation of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, led by its National Secretary, Comrade Shedrack Anzaku.
Echono said the initiative, which will begin with 12 pilot campuses, is part of President Bola Tinubu’s directive to improve the welfare and learning environment of Nigerian students through innovation and inclusion.
